Price: Admission is free-Each bowl is $18 & includes a bowl of soup, bread & water

Special After-Event -Tycoon Flats Music Jam

Place: Tycoon Flats  2926 N. St. Mary's
Price: Free Admission-Food & beverages regular price with donations accepted at the door.  10% of all net sales for the day will go to SAMMinistries.

SAMMinistries is an interfaith ministry whose mission is to help the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless attain self-sufficiency by offering, with dignity and compassion,shelter, housing, and services. SAMMinistries also provides volunteers opportunities to be renewed and fulfilled as they serve.

Laverne - Using Her Voice Again

Raised in a family of 9 kids by an single parent who had been a victim of abuse, Laverne herself caught in the same vicious cycle at the early age of 2.  Sadly, this was only the beginning of her childhood abuse.

Share in Lavern’s story and learn how she has regained the ability to smile and her inspirational trek back into society.

    San Antonio is a great city to work in volunteerism.  No matter the economic climate, the wet winter, or frustratingly hot summer, the city of San Antonio is always there to help. The Numbers In the past year SAMMinistries has had volunteers provide more than 300 worship services, 20 birthday parties, 3 karoake nights, endless games of Bingo, 2 moon bounces, and a A/C equipped storage facility for New Donations.  We have watched the Spurs, the Cowboys,…
