Thanks to the San Antonio Fire Department’s quick response, all residents of the property were safely evacuated. Unfortunately, the fire, structural, and water damage displaced 22 households from their units at The Hudson. All of the individuals impacted by this have experienced the trauma of chronic homelessness, and also have a disabling physical or mental health condition. Everyone has been relocated, but this unfortunate event has them all beginning again.
We need your help now more than ever to help these San Antonians rebuild their lives.
Given that most of those displaced have little or no income, donations are needed to help them replace essential items, access transportation, meet basic needs during the transition, and support SAMMinistries and these individuals as we help them heal and stabilize again.
Every gift, no matter the size or type, will offer critically needed hope and will serve as a reminder of the community of supporters standing behind those in our community most in need.
Thank you in advance for your compassion and generosity. Together, we are the faces of hope, building and strengthening our community.
