The YASS Center is a safe space for young adults (ages 18-24) to access critical resources on their path to self-sufficiency. From housing and career assistance to physical and mental health resources, the YASS Center is a judgement-free zone for those in need.

SAMMinistries’ Street Outreach team engages unsheltered individuals, helping meet their basic needs and connecting them to the homeless services system and other community resources.
The Rapid Re-Housing program reduces the amount of time a family experiences homelessness and rapidly re-houses families into permanent, affordable homes. Financial assistance is provided for up to 3 months along with 12 months of case management.

SAMMinistries’ low-barrier Emergency Shelter is designed to serve our community’s most vulnerable, individuals with long histories of homelessness and physical and/or mental health disabilities. During fiscal year 2024, the program moved to a new building, increasing capacity from 45 to serving 185 unsheltered neighbors at a single time.

SAMMinistries’ Transitional Living and Learning Center (TLLC) is home for 40 families as they work to overcome homelessness. The TLLC provides housing, support and resources to families (parent plus at least one minor child) who show a commitment to gaining self-sufficiency. The individual needs of all family members are supported for a two year period, promoting the viability of the family as a whole while they transition out of homelessness.

Permanent Supportive Housing assists and empowers families to live as independently as possible. SAMMinistries has a permanent housing program that assists families with whom one member of the family has a disability. SAMMinistries also manages 100 set-aside housing vouchers to help families find permanent housing in the private rental market.

SAMMExpress, located on Oblate Drive next door to the Oblate Café, collects and distributes new and used clothing, household items and furniture that are distributed to clients in all of SAMMinistries programs, including those who are exiting to permanent housing.
