Help Make a House a Home
For 38 years, SAMMinistries has served San Antonio’s most vulnerable by providing safe, stable housing. The families and individuals who receive assistance from SAMMinistries do so with few of the personal goods necessary to make a house a home. Right now, we have 30 families who have overcome homelessness and are moving into new apartments without basic furnishings like furniture, cookware, dishes, and cleaning supplies. You make it possible for our neighbors to succeed by sponsoring our most needed furniture items:
- $30: Twin Bed Frame
- $75: Twin Mattress
- $150: Dresser or Dining Room Table for Four
- $300: Mattress, Box Spring, Bed Frame, plus Delivery and Set-Up
- $1500: Make a House a Home—the Complete Setup for a Family of Four
Without a bed, it is difficult to get a good night’s sleep which is essential for maintaining employment, keeping up with school, and for good health. A table allows a family to eat together. And a couch allows friends and family to visit and fill the home with joy. Your gift transforms the homes and lives of San Antonians who have been hardest hit in these challenging times.
