Summer Heat Emergency

Record heat levels create unprecedented danger for people experiencing homelessness.

This summer, rising costs, housing instability, and increased evictions are causing a perfect storm of danger for the individuals and families experiencing homelessness in San Antonio. Our street outreach staff is scrambling to provide much-needed items like water, hats, sunscreen, and new undergarments to people in crisis.

However, we need to purchase more life-saving supplies for our unhoused neighbors experiencing this heatwave!

Much-needed items include:

• Water
• Sunscreen
• Wash Cloths
• Wet Wipes
• Reusable water bottles
