Provide hope to your neighbors experiencing homelessness!

San Antonio and Bexar County have seen an increase in homelessness for the last few years, with young adults aged 18 to 24 increasingly affected. These years should be filled with growth, yet for many, they are marred by overwhelming challenges.

At SAMMinistries’ Young Adult Stability and Support (YASS) Center, we help this especially vulnerable population address the cause for their experience of homelessness, including family or domestic violence, poverty, physical and mental health. Since opening just under two years ago, the YASS Center has served 271 young adults, with just under 50% (118) who aged out of the foster care system without the support and guidance needed to thrive.
